Aderibigbe gets COEASU’s honour, celebrates teachers

John Akorede AderibigbeThe College Of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) of the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, have bestowed a meritorious Award of honour to former Presidential Aspirant and President, National Carrot Growers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigerian, (NACAGPROMAN), John Akorede Aderibigbe.

Aderibigbe was honoured by COEASU in recognition of his commitment, patriotism to humanity, coupled with his immense contribution to Agriculture as an Agripreneur.

His philanthropic gesture to the society at large was also noticed by the revered educators, who used the auspicious occasion to also celebrate its annual National Teachers Day Celebration on every October 5.

Aderibigbe, who was represented by his Media Aide, Akinwale Kasali, appreciated COEASU for finding him worthy and honouring him.

He said for every society to develop and move forward, Teachers play a pivotal role in impacting of knowledge, stressing that their service to the nation will never go unnoticed.

“I use this occasion to appreciate our teachers for their steadfastness, determination, passion and zeal in affecting the lives of our students positively, without them the future looks bleak and uncertain.

“It is also worthy of note that no sane society exist without Teachers.

“This award of Honour will spur me to do more in impacting lives positively and make the nation and world at large a better place for all and sundry”, Aderibigbe stated.

He, however, used the medium to appeal to Nigerians to unite for peace and tranquillity to reign supreme in the country as we move into electioneering process, urging politicians not to fan ember of hatred and not heat up the polity.
