Baale Folarin

A prominent traditional ruler in Ogun State, High Chief Julius Folarin, Baale of Araromi-Oja Coker, in Ifo Local Government has passed away.

Baale Folarin died at the age of 84 years on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born in 1940.

Baale Folarin was laid to rest on Monday October 21, 2024 at his residence at Coker Town, Ifo, according to his wish, after a well-attended funeral service at African Cathedral Church, Coker, Ifo.

Folarin is survived by his wife, Chief Mrs Modupe Folarin, a business tycoon; children including Mrs. Bolaji Emmanuel (Daughter), Pastor Adebayo E. Folarin (Son), Moses Oluwaseun Folarin PhD (Son), Oluwafemi A. Folarin (Son) and grandchildren.

The final burial ceremony is scheduled for November 01, 2024 with a morning church service at the African Cathedral Church, Coker, Ifo, followed by reception of guests at his residence, Baale Folarin’s House, Coker Town, Ifo.
