Fear of attacks as thugs ask Lagos protesters to go home
There is currently agitation in the Ojota area of Lagos State as police and thugs ordered protesters to move into the Gani Fawehinmi Park to continue their protest.
The protesters said they are concerned that both the thugs and police could ambush them.
Earlier, thugs converged at the venue, threatened the protesters, and asked them to return to their various homes to protest and make their demands.

For the second day, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke, met with the protesters and urged them to enter the park, but they further declined.
A protester expressing his dissatisfaction said asking protesters to go into the park would defeat the purpose of the protest.
“They should leave us in the service lane to express ourselves. We are not moving and they must hear our voices. Some people came early and heavily armed. The police have shown us that we are not safe,” a protester said.
Speaking, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke, said: “I am going to be with you and I’m giving you one hundred percent that nobody will infiltrate the park. I will not leave here until the end of the protest and will be in charge of the security of this place.”
