To enhance the discourse on womanhood, femininity, and its impact on society, Iya Henry, a platform that celebrates women’s growth in various spheres of life is launching Iya Henry Live, a round table event geared at celebrating the essentials of women.

A brainchild of Yomi Wilcox, the event is scheduled for March 25, 2023, at the Yacht Hotel, Lekki, Lagos with discussions around facets of life including Love and Relationships, Money and Business, Health and Wellness, and Mummy moments.

Guided by the theme Breaking Her Silence: Speaking Up & Speaking Out, the inaugural edition will discuss women-related topics with audience participation from a cross-section of women representing different generations. Iya Henry Live will feature panelists including Iyabo Ladipo, Chief Executive Officer, Double Portions Culinary School; Nene Bejide, Founder and Chief Strategist, Blanche Aigle Communications; Lola Oyeka, Country Public Affairs Officer, CitiBank; Lolu Desalu, Chief Marketing Officer, FilmHouse Group, Sheila Ojei, Director, Strategy, Funding, and stakeholder Management, Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.

Others are Chidera Didi Akwuba, Financial and Corporate Strategy Professional; Radia Turay, Legal Practitioner; Ope Oduwole, Associate Director, KPMG; Foluso Gbadamosi, Executive Director, Junior Achievement Nigeria and Abosede George-Ogan, Founder, Wilan Global.

The event seeks to combine and showcase the experience of a sister girl’s brunch, kitchen round table discussion and a girls’ only slumber party all rolled into one. The hybrid mode event will be hosted by Yomi Wilcox, author of Give Thanks: A Testimony Journal and Editor-in-Chief of Iyahenry.com.
