
A 35-year-old Adebola Oyewole, on Wednesday, appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, for allegedly stealing roofing sheets worth N2 million.

Oyewole, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and theft.
The prosecutor, Insp Musbau Lawal, told the court that the defendant committed the offenses on Sept. 8, at 11.25 a.m., at Oluseyi Printing Press, College Crescent in Ibadan.
Lawal said that the defendant and others at large conspired and stole the roofing sheets which belonged to one Dare Adekanbi.

He said the offences contravened Sections 390(9) and 517 of the Criminal Law of Oyo State, 2000.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him by the police.
The Magistrate, Mr. Olaolu Olanipekun, granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He adjourned the case until Nov. 20 for a hearing.
