Rotarian Juliet Ndidi Momoh has been sworn in as the 40th President of Rotary Club of Agbara.
Speaking after being installed, Momoh, who is the third lady to occupy the post, commended all those who had made the club what it is in the last 40 years.
She promised to give her best to make the club better. She, however, urged club members, friends and families to support her in the quest to executive impactful projects in the next one year.

She dubbed the star project for her tenure as Imole, which aims to equip the surgical wards at the Rotary Eye Centre, Ota as well as carry out glaucoma and cataract surgeries for 50 persons among others.
“As a new district (District 9111), there are so many expectations and I know with team work, we can make a huge difference for it is not about the club officers alone but the entire club members. Therefore, all hands have to be on deck for our impact on humanity to be felt beyond Agbara. Service is the goal.”
In his valedictory speech, the club’s immediate past President, Joshua Cole noted that the past one year has been nothing short of remarkable. He, however, noted that the achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of club members.
He listed a number of projects that were executed to include the renovation of a block of three classrooms, free medical outreach and donation of relief materials to flood victims.
The guest speaker, Dr Adebodun Sanyaolu spoke on the intersection of culture and leadership.
Guests at the event included former Managing Director, Guardian Newspapers Limited, Mr. Lade Bonuola; Chief Launcher, Mrs. Amiakhor Magdalene; Royal father of the day, Onilokun of Ode Ekiti, Julius Ogunmakinde, and the Chairman of the day, Dr Lanre Shoyinka.
