Women entrepreneurs trained on regulatory frameworks to build resilience

Tu2minis Global Services Limited and Tu2minis Place Limited have trained 40 women entrepreneurs on regulatory frameworks aimed at enhancing business resilience and sustainability.

The 2.0 entrepreneurship workshop with the theme “Thrive Through Regulation: Building Resilient Businesses”, was aimed at improving the understanding of critical legal and regulatory processes among female business owners across Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Ngozi Enite-Okoro, Founder of Tu2minis Global Services Limited and Tu2minis Place Limited, emphasized the importance of regulation in building credible and sustainable enterprises.

She noted that participants received training on intellectual property rights, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration procedures, and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) requirements.

A key highlight of the workshop was the presence of representatives from the Bank of Industry, who provided insights on funding opportunities and financial inclusion for women-led businesses.

The session emphasized the role of accessible financing in scaling businesses and promoting economic empowerment.

The Organizers noted that notable uptick in regulatory compliance among attendees, including an increase in business registrations with CAC, trademark applications, and NAFDAC certifications.

According to Enite-Okoro, these developments not only enhance business credibility but also enable access to national and international markets.

The workshop also explored the broader economic impact of regulatory literacy, including its contribution to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and its potential to drive regional trade through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Encouraged by the success of the event, organizers announced that the third edition of the Women Entrepreneurship Workshop is scheduled for October 2025.

The workshop concluded with a call to action for women entrepreneurs to embrace regulation as a strategic tool for growth rather than a barrier, reinforcing the event’s broader message of empowerment through knowledge and compliance.
