CHAIRMAN of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Oyo state, Sunday Adelaja has received about 2000 defectors from other political parties into its fold at Iwajowa local government council.

Adelaja who received the defectors during the electioneering campaign of the party’s governorship candidate, Seyi Makinde in the local government assured those who defected to the party of equal opportunities with the foundation members.

The party chairman congratulated the defectors for taking the bold decision to identify with the SDP and promised that they would not regret their decision, asking them to ensure they make positive impact in the party.
