Barr. Ndamitso emerges NBA Minna branch chairman

Members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Minna Branch, have elected a new set of executives to run the affairs of the association, with Barrister Ibrahim Mohammed Ndamitso emerging as the new Chairman.

The election was held on Friday at the Minna High Court Complex, where members voted for candidates seeking various elective positions in the branch.
Announcing the results, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Mr. Ahmed Yusuf, disclosed that 95 ballot papers were issued to eligible members who participated in the exercise.

Yusuf declared the winners of the nine elective positions as follows: Barr. Ibrahim Mohammed Ndamitso, Chairman; Barr. Jibril Abdala, Vice Chairman; Barr. Solomon Mamman Jiya, Secretary; Favor Abraham, Treasurer; Barr. Denis Noel Barje, Financial Secretary; Barr. Silestine Audu, Welfare Secretary; Barr. Achanyan Deborah, Publicity Secretary; Barr. Okibe Job, Provost; and Barr. Isah Abubakar Lapai, Assistant Secretary.
Speaking with journalists shortly after he was declared Chairman-elect, Barrister Ndamitso commended members of the Electoral Committee for conducting a peaceful and credible election.

He also expressed appreciation to members of the branch for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to strengthen the association and advance the interests of members.
Ndamitso assured that he would leave no stone unturned in moving the NBA Minna Branch to greater heights during his tenure.
