ACCORD Party (AP) governorship candidate in Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja has promised traders in Bola Ige International Market Gbagi, Ibadan of a reduction in rents if elected in next month’s elections

Addressing is supporters at a rally held in Egbeda Local government Area of the state, he said his administration would provide amenities and upgrading facilities in the market

Earlier at the sawmill area Old Ife road, Ladoja had warn the people not to trust the APC administration in the state accusing it of making promises which they have no intention of keeping.

He noted that the APC led government in the state feeds on lie, wondering why the administration, which is owing arrears of workers salaries, would continue to deny it

He said its an unfortunate situation the state has found itself with the present leadership and advised the people to be wary of state owned media as they are the channels through which the government disseminate falsehood.

Ladoja said the ruling government relies so much on propaganda that one could be forced to think the state government believes that if falsehood is reported repeatedly the people may begin to believe it to be the truth.

He however addeed that no matter the amount of lies the people who have not been paid knows they have not been paid.

He advised the people to ensure they collect their permanent voters card and exercise their civic rights to have a say in who gets political power in the country

At the rally, a former PDP chairman in Egbeda Local Government, Alhaji Adisa Alabi defected to the Accord Party with hundreds of his followers
