THE immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, yesterday described the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, as an inimitable minister of God with supernatural passion for the work of the Lord.

Daniel, who stated this in his congratulatory message to Adeboye on his 73rd birthday anniversary, issued by his media spokesman, Ayo Giwa, said: “Pastor Adeboye’s humble beginnings, focus, hardwork, determination and rise to eminence in the Lord’s vineyard are nothing but fulfilment of the scriptures and a manifestation of Divine existence in his life.

“I can remember that from my early university days, I have been drawn to his sermons which always contained interesting stories and illustrations that brought each lesson to life.

“Anyone who has heard him speak would agree he has a wonderful way with words and a tender, fervent heart. For some of us who had the privilege of being taught and nurtured by Pastor Adeboye, we were always challenged by the way he delivered the Word in his inimitable, eloquent style.”

Daniel further said: “Pastor Adeboye’s spartan life of transparency, openness, truthfulness and grace make him one outstanding personality worthy of reference. He is indeed God’s precious gift to the nation.

“On behalf of my family, I thank God for the life of this extra-ordinary pastor and his family while praying for God’s protection, Divine strength, joy and a very long life as he continues to win many more souls.”
