Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, arrived in Kano for the wedding solemnisation of the daughter of 2023 Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, holding at the palace of the Emir of Kano.
The former head of state, who was received by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, dressed in white attire matched with a red cap.
Also received by the Governor were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Former Vice President, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, and 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, who were among the top flight figures in Kano for the wedding.
Equally sighted at the Emir’s palace were former Speaker, the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwa, former Governor of Katsina, Dikko Radda, Muhammad Abacha, senators, former governors, and prominent personalities.
Kwankwaso’s daughter, Dr. Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is getting married to Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal, son of renowned business mogul Dahiru Barau Mangal.
