Wakiki brings homemade food to Africans in UK
In a bid to ensure that African travellers, particularly Nigerians, do not lose the taste of homemade food while outside the continent, Wakiki, an African cattery organisation, has launched a food delivery service in London, United Kingdom (UK) to supply African and Afro-Caribbean food for travellers and Africans in the UK.
Its Founders, Fuad Animashaun and Timi Animashaun, in a statement, said they started Wakiki three years ago to include the African and Caribbean food flavours into the urban food delivery culture.
Wakiki, which is fast becoming a household feature in most Nigerian homes in the UK, because of the convenience and ease of ordering, guaranteed delivery and quality, serves Nigerian traditional local food and soup and the Caribbean oxtail curries.
