Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, said yesterday that his ministry would continue to reward excellence, to promote the culture of hardwork and diligence in federal civil service.

Speaking at the 2018 staff Award Ceremony, Fashola explained that the awards would stir up others who had not been recognised to put in their best, adding that recipients excelled in their various fields.

Earlier, chairman, Federal Civil Service Commission, Dr. Bello Ingawa, congratulated the awardees for lifting the standards, while urging others to cultivate the habit of hardwork to make a mark in the service.

He said that they would continue to build up capacity for robust monitoring and evaluation of all civil servants, calling on them to imbibe and practise good service delivery to the citizens.
