Nigeria police declare its official wanted for murder
The Anambra State Police Command has declared Inspector Audu Omadefu wanted for his alleged involvement in a murder case.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Deputy Superintendent of Police Tochukwu Ikenga, spokesperson for the command.
“Anambra State Police Command hereby declares AP No. 362178, Inspector Audu Omadefu wanted for murder,” Ikenga said in the statement.
The police spokesman did not disclose the details of the alleged murder.
He, however, urged members of the public who see the fugitive or have information on his whereabouts to report him to the nearest police station.
Ikenga noted that any information provided would be treated with confidentiality.
He also included the telephone number of the command’s control room number 07039194332 and the PPRO on 08039334002.
