Rotary Int’l District 9111 organises presidents- elect learning seminar 

Rotary Int’l District 9111’s Presidents-elect Training Seminar (PETS) will hold on March 28 and 29, 2025 at Orchid Hotel, Lekki-Lagos.  The District Governor-elect 2025-2026 and the Convener, Henry Akinyele, said: “The seminar is organised for presidents- elect who would be serving in 2025- 2026 Rotary year.”

Akinyele stated that “the District Governor 2024-2025 Rotary District 9111 and Chief Medical Director, Ace Medicare Clinic, Dr Wole Kukoyi will declare open the training seminar.”

Akinyele added that “The facilitators include:  former Managing Director, Critall Hope Aluminum Plc and Past District Governor (DG), Remi Bello; District Learning Facilitator and first female DG, Omotunde Lawson; Managing Director, Shab company Ltd and past DG,  Patrick Ikheloa; Vice Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Lagos Chapter and DG nominee-designate, Samuel Ayetutu; past District Governor, Otunba Bola Onabadejo; past DG, Jide Akeredolu; and District Governor-nominee, Bukola Bakare and Senior Special Assistant to Akwa Ibom State Governor, Michael Effiong, among others. 

Akinyele revealed that Past Rotary International Vice President,  Yinka Babalola would be guest speaker at the session, stated further that, “the Rotary International message for 2025-2026 is Unite for Good, and participants are to be trained on club leadership, teamwork, effective communication skills, developing action plans for achievement of goals, and setting of goals.”

“Rotary is an international service organization that brings together business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and advance  goodwill and peace around the world,” he said.
