The newly elected Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Yemi Davids of the Global Impact Ministry, has called on Nigerians to eschew all forms of religious and tribal sentiments that tend to diversity and embrace the spirit of unity to move Nigeria forward.

He gave the advice during the inauguration of new state executives of PFN, Lagos chapter, tagged “The New Dawn” under the distinguished Chairmanship of its National President, Bishop Wale Oke, held at the Covenant Nation, Iganmu, Lagos.

Davids, who succeeds Enyinnaya Okwuonu, promised to focus on the unity of members of the fellowship as well as the body of Christ to impact lives.

“There are areas of focus as we match forward include reconciliation, renewal (spiritual), relevance, resourcefulness and re-visioneering,” he said.

Meanwhile, National Chairman of States Inauguration Committee, Archbishop Joseph Ojo, charged the new Lagos executives to be selfless in their services and work towards ensuring peace and unity among all members.

Prayers were offered for the new executives to enable them to succeed in achieving the purpose and vision of the body of Christ, which is love among all believers in the Christian fold.
