A popular Nigerian cosmetic doctor, Oluwafemi Esho, known as Tijion Esho, has been removed from the medical register after a tribunal found him guilty of misconduct involving a patient.

Esho gave free Botox to a patient in return for sex at his clinic.
Esho, known for his appearances on ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers, admitted to engaging in “inappropriate” sexual messages on Instagram with a patient identified as Patient A.
A UK Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) revealed that evidence shows that sexually suggestive messages were exchanged on Instagram between Dr. Esho and Patient A from 2019 to 2022.

In September 2019, he said, “What you doing to me lol. Morning Glory. Bloody have me wanting the real thing. That’s like every man’s dream.”
In November 2019, he posted, “Why you making me bulge lol. Send more; don’t be sorry lol.”
The following month, he wrote “Lol, loving the tongue” and “Ha free mls, I’d need the whole booty and more.”

Weeks later, he told her, “My God, having you for a night/every night is a dream but if we do it for mls I break the doctor’s code and I’d be a dead man x lol.”
While Esho, 42, denied ever having physical relations with Patient A, who reportedly worked in the adult entertainment industry, the tribunal ruled otherwise.
The panel, which met in Manchester, ruled that Dr. Esho had sexual intercourse with Patient A at his Newcastle clinic in 2021 and administered Botox for free.

It also found that Esho told the victims that he “could get away with giving her Botox in exchange for sexual services.”
The panel also concluded that he and the woman had sexual contact at previous consultations.
The panel ruled that Esho’s conduct was sexually motivated but did not find Patient A to be vulnerable because of her profession.

Esho, however, admitted that he had “let down many people” and added that he “fully accepted that this behaviour as a medical professional and doctor was not acceptable.”
“However, I repeat categorically that the communications never crossed over into any physical sexual contact,” Esho said.
“Despite today’s decision, I remain as committed as ever in ensuring all patients at our clinics, many of whom have shown incredible support over the past few months, continue to receive the highest standards of treatment and care.”
