Nigerian digital health innovator, Onyinyechukwu Gift Ositadinma, has been honoured by Newsbreeze Magazine in recognition of her groundbreaking contributions to cancer support and healthcare innovation.
Ositadinma, who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Compass UK, earned the accolade for her pioneering work in deploying artificial intelligence to assist cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
The award ceremony took place in Asaba, Delta State, where it was received on her behalf by her father, Chief Ositadinma Nwabuine, in the company of her sister.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Chief Nwabuine expressed immense pride in his daughter’s achievements, noting that the recognition adds to a growing list of honours she has garnered in recent times.
He revealed that Ositadinma had received a similar award just two weeks earlier from the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria, underscoring her rising profile in the field of digital health innovation.
Describing her accomplishments as a source of pride to both Delta State and Nigeria at large, Nwabuine offered prayers for her continued success and greater global impact.
Cancer Compass UK, the platform founded by Ositadinma, leverages artificial intelligence to provide personalised guidance, accessible medical information, and emotional support to individuals navigating the complexities of cancer.
The initiative is designed to ensure that patients and their families receive timely, tailored assistance at every stage of the cancer journey.
Further cementing her reputation as a thought leader, Ositadinma was a featured speaker at the TechChat and Networking 2026 event held on March 28 in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
At the event, she shared insights into the development of her AI-driven platform and reiterated her belief that no individual should have to face cancer alone.
The recognition by Newsbreeze Magazine highlights Ositadinma’s growing influence in global healthcare innovation and her commitment to expanding access to critical cancer support services through technology.
Her work continues to position her as one of Nigeria’s leading voices in the intersection of artificial intelligence and patient-centred care.
