NerdzFactory Foundation and Access Corporation (Access) have partnered to bridge the digital divide and empower Nigerian youths with essential tech skills through the successful completion of DigiGap 3.0.
Launched in December 2023, the program equipped participants with in-demand skills to navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape, recognizing Nigeria’s critical role in Africa’s digital market.
Managing Director of NerdzFactory Foundation, Ade Olowojoba, said DigiGap 3.0 is a big step forward in their mission to empower young Nigerians with the skills they need to thrive in the digital age.
“By investing in their knowledge and capabilities, we’re shaping individual futures and contributing to our nation’s progress,” he said.
The program offered insightful webinars with industry experts, followed by an intensive four-week training program focusing on specialized tracks. The grand finale, Demo Day, saw participants showcase their innovative projects, demonstrating their newfound expertise and creativity.
One of the participants, Aisha Mohammed said she had gained a lot from the program.
In her words: “The expert-led webinars and hands-on training were invaluable. I’m now confident in my skills and excited to contribute to Nigeria’s digital future,” she said.
