The Nigeria New Media Association, (NNMA) has commended the Chairman of Golden Gate Group and Co-Chairman of the Nigeria – China Business Council, Chief Jacob Wood for his consistency in creating employment opportunities for Nigerians.

The organisation stated this at its award ceremony held at the Golden Gate Restaurant in Lagos, where Wood was honoured with Industrialist of the Year 2023 and Business Developer of the Year 2023.

According to the NNMA, the awards were in recognition of the entrepreneur’s contributions to the country’s economic growth and development and impact.
Vice President of NNMA, Adeyemi Adesanya, who spoke at the event, said the recognition served as a testament to Wood’s outstanding achievements and contributions to the Nigerian business landscape.

“His accomplishments continue to inspire both local and international entrepreneurs, demonstrating the endless possibilities that exist within Nigeria’s thriving economy, and we are proud to honour him with these awards,” he said.

Speaking after receiving the award, Wood said: “I am delighted to be recognised for my contributions to the Nigeria economy. This award will be a motivator to remain steadfast in business. All this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and hard work of my dedicated employees. We will continue to improve the business relationships between Nigeria and China.”
