Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and its 2023 governorship candidate in Ogun State, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump on his election victory. Ajadi, a South West chieftain known for his advocacy of good governance and political foresight, expressed optimism that Trump’s second term would promote stability and peace across the world.
Ajadi, who had earlier predicted Trump’s success, shared his insight on the election outcome, noting that Trump’s platform of economic resilience and conservative values resonated with Americans amid challenging times.

The election saw high voter turnout in a closely watched race between Trump and Democratic challenger Kamala Harris, with issues such as economic recovery, healthcare, and foreign policy front and centre.
Ajadi’s earlier forecast of Trump’s victory highlighted his understanding of political dynamics and his commitment to staying informed on global affairs.
In a statement at his Ibafo office, Ajadi described Trump’s victory as a “divine intervention,” bringing hope beyond American shores.

“President Trump’s win is a powerful message of hope, not just for Americans but for people all around the world,” he declared, expressing confidence in Trump’s potential to ease tensions amid global conflicts. Ajadi also touched on Trump’s diplomatic approach, suggesting it could foster development in emerging markets, including African nations. He noted that Trump’s commitment to sovereignty and national self-reliance offers valuable lessons for African leaders.
“Trump encourages nations to use their resources wisely,” Ajadi said, “and this message can inspire African leaders to pursue sustainable, self-reliant growth.”
