Nwoko inducted into international health care committee
Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Delta State (Special Duties) on Contributory Health Commission, Dr. Michael Nwoko has been inducted into the Health Care Committee of Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Texas, United States.
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee is an International Health Care Committee with missions to provide; Resources that includes access to information regarding healthcare options in the fields of policy, advocacy and compliance.
The group also promotes business development and land development, creating a healthier community.
The group also provide a gateway to information related to insurance, wellness and other related issues that empower communities to become healthier and more educated.
According to Dr Nwoko, “The Committee will support bringing healthcare topics in multiple platforms that educate and engage the general public to make healthier choices.
“It also looks forward to becoming a resource for local businesses looking to improve the health of their employees”.
The committee also provides education for consumers and business owners to be “healthcare insiders” that can make informed decisions when utilizing the healthcare system.
Dr Nwoko was inducted into the prestigious International Health Care Committee, having met all the criteria required to becoming a member of the reputable international round-table organization and in recognition of his resounding contributions towards the development of the health care sector and his selfless service to humanity in Nigeria and abroad.
Dr Nwoko as an SA to the Governor (Special Duties) on Contributory Health Commission, has played major roles in driving key health care policies and programmes of the Okowa administration down to the grassroots level.
By the admittance into this Global Health Care Committee, Dr. Nwoko would further be exposed to the best Global standards for Health Care delivery.
