Former Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has commiserated with the victims of the Jattu Community Market fire, in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

Obaseki, in a statement, commiserated “with the traders and all who were affected by the sad incident.

“The losses are unfortunate, and we sympathise with those whose goods were consumed and livelihoods affected by the unfortunate fire incident.

“While we thank God that no life was lost in the inferno, we urge the State Government to do everything in its power to offer necessary support and relief to affected traders and their families, and work with emergency responders and market leaders to uncover the immediate and remote cause of the fire so as to forestall a reoccurrence.”
