Obaseki’s aide dismisses alleged threat to lawmaker’s life
Special Adviser to Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, yesterday, denied the allegation by the lawmaker representing Oredo West State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Chris Okaeben, of threat to his life by the governor.
Osagie, who described the allegations as false and laughable, said the governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, have a robust and very cordial relationship, maintaining that that his boss would not descend so low to the level of playing politics of gossips and campaign of calumny again party members, insisting that nobody, including the governor, was chasing him or after his life.
