Owner state governors of Odua Investment Company Limited yesterday disclosed their plan to grow the revenue base of the company from N4 billion to N20 billion by 2019.
The governors met in Ibadan, Oyo state capital to review the activities of the conglomerate and fashion out ways of improving on its achievements in the present year.
The closed- door meeting which lasted over three hours and attended by Governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun as well as deputy governor of Oyo, Chief Moses Alake, Adeyemo and Secretary to the Government of Ekiti state, Dr Modupe Alade took place at the board room of the conglomerate inside Cocoa House building.
Addressing reporters at the end of the meeting, which also had, in attendance the board and management of the company, Mimiko disclosed that they have approved a five-year strategic plan to grow the revenue base of the conglomerate from N4billion to N20 billion by 2019.
Besides, Mimiko said the board has concluded plans to admit Lagos state as part of Odua group. Initially, the five owner states are Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo.
