Abiodun, Alake, Adebanjo, Adams to attend S’West security summit
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appealed to corporate organisations to synergise with the state government in the fight against coronavirus in the state.
Abiodun, who said this during the official launch of Eat ‘N’ Go warehouse and commissary in Mowe/Magboro area of the state, said his administration had taken bold steps by disinfecting various communities and public places.
The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Kikelomo Longe, assured investors of the administration’s commitment to further improve the ease of doing business in the state.
MEANWHILE, the fourth edition of South-West Security Stakeholders Group (SSSG), to deliberate on the worsening state of insecurity across the six Yoruba states, is scheduled to hold in Ogun State on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Abiodun, Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo; the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams and leader of Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, are expected to grace the discussion.
In a statement yesterday, Adams said the conference was necessitated by the various security challenges across Yorubaland.
