Ohanaeze chief cautions against alleged Fulanisation, Islamisation agenda

Says implementation by local mercenaries may lead to anarchy
As Nigeria celebrates its 59th independence anniversary, a chieftain of Ohanaeze-Ndigbo, Okpalaukwu Emejulu Okpalaezeukwu has cautioned against further move to allegedly Fulanise and Islamise the country, saying such plan may inadvertently cause disintegration of the country.

Speaking to journalists in Awka, Anambra State, yesterday, Okpalaezeukwu expressed concern over the impunity exhibited by proponents of Fulanisation and Islamisation agenda, who he described as local imperialists bent on practicing extreme Islam.

“The facts speak for themselves. A situation where a government in power is so sectional that it is sponsoring Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) or National Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP), which are a purely hidden agenda in a supposed secular state like Nigeria calls for worry.

“Nigerians are brazenly intimidated due actions of self-centred people in government who use religion as a cover up their secret agenda and other dastardly acts,” he said.He alleged that for the first time in the country’s history, some people have found themselves in almost every local government and states in the federation in a “purchase our freedom and/or acquire it by force crusade, but for the crises their approach had generated.

Okpalaezeukwu, who is national youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stressed that in spite of agitations in the southeast by certain sections of Igbo, there has never been a time when they asked non-indigenes out of their states.

He advised the Igbo in the North not to entertain any fear, but remain law-abiding and go about their legitimate businesses without fear of molestation and harassment.He noted that the alleged impunity and global conspiracy to achieve the Fuilanisation and Islamisation agenda necessitated the emergence of Jesus Armi to pray against and flush out violent criminals in positions of power and authority.

“I call on Nigerians to join hands with the Modern Nigeria (WAZOBIA) Mandate Groups that metamorphosed into ‘Jesus Armi’ to pray these self-centred people out of power and restore the country’s lost glory.“The 59th year of Nigeria’s nationhood is an occasion to call for return of the country to its pre-Independence days. That is why every ethnic group should go back to the past and free themselves from local imperialists and agents of world cabals .“It is time for Nigerians to go back to Nigeria’s independence era or we are heading towards anarchy, “ he added.
