Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege has condemned greed, mismanagement, wastefulness and plundering of public wealth by the privileged in government under the pretext of ethnicity, religion and primordial sentiments.
Speaking on “Christianity and Accountability for Christians in Government” at an event organised by the Palace of Priests Assembly in Abuja, the lawmaker urged all Christians occupying privileged positions in government to shun injustice, divisiveness, greed and corruption.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yomi Odunuga, Omo-Agege stated that corruption was the greatest enemy retarding the nation’s progress and development.
