Omowunmi Akinnifesi launches clothing line, debuts ‘The Urban Movement’ Campaign
Fashion is part of Nigerian beauty queens. Agbani Darego launched her clothing line AD and now former beauty queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi is introducing her brand to the Nigerian market. She launched her clothing line simply called “Omowunmi”.
The Omowunmi label was created for the urban woman with a social lifestyle. We are sure to see printed fabrics, bold colours, 3D designed petals, structural pieces and simplistic fine lines in the coming collections.
According to the creative designer, “This is a Nigerian-based women’s clothing label that incorporates vibrant, colourful and urban designs on high quality fabrics to create unique apparel. This ready to wear brand targets women between ages 20 to 40. A range of the brand is called the “MOMA range” which includes elegant Caftans for women who love the one piece, well-embroidered rich, effortlessly chic and elegant look. Another range is the OMA, which forms her initials and signifies a woman of class who likes to express herself in the simplest form.”
The campaign photos for the brand are out and we love the exciting range of outfits.
