Adamawa State Police Command, in collaboration with local security outfits, has successfully raided a notorious kidnappers’ hideout in the Holma Mountains, Song Local Government Area.
Police spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement, that heavily armed suspects engaged security operatives in a fierce gun duel.
“One kidnapper was neutralized, while others fled with bullet wounds. A suspect, identified as Mohammed Sale, was apprehended at the scene,” he said.

He added that security operatives also recovered a cache of weapons, including one (1) AK-47 rifle, two (2) locally made guns, and five rounds of AK-47 live ammunition.
“The arrested suspect is currently in custody, assisting with further investigations,” he said.
Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, praised the efforts of security operatives and local vigilantes, urging continued collaboration to rid the state of criminal elements.
He called on residents to report any suspicious individuals, particularly those with gunshot wounds, as investigations continue.
