Optiva honours executive director Amaka Okeke for 12 years of service

Optiva Capital Partners has marked the 12th work anniversary of its Executive Director of Business Development, Ambassador Amaka Okeke, with a tribute highlighting her leadership and contributions to the firm’s growth and reputation as a leading African advisory and investment immigration company.

At a commemorative event, Chairman of Optiva Capital Partners, Mr Franklin Nechi, described Ambassador Okeke as “the embodiment of excellence, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Optiva’s mission of improving lives and expanding global access for Africans.”

Mr. Nechi noted that since joining the company 12 years ago, Ambassador Okeke has played a defining role in shaping Optiva’s identity and corporate philosophy. “Her strategic vision and deep passion for service have driven our company’s success and positioned Optiva as a bridge connecting Africa’s potential to global possibilities,” he said.

He added that Ambassador Okeke’s leadership has fostered a workplace culture anchored on innovation and mentorship, with her influence extending beyond corporate achievements to human capacity development. “She has mentored countless professionals and helped position Optiva as a trusted partner for clients seeking to expand their global opportunities,” Nechi remarked.

Reflecting on her journey, Ambassador Okeke said her time at Optiva has been driven by a shared mission to improve lives through investment immigration and wealth retention. She recounted how the company’s work has brought lasting impact to families and entrepreneurs across Africa.

“I’ve witnessed first-hand how a second passport can secure a family’s future or even save lives,” she said. “One of our clients passed away unexpectedly, but because we had completed his family’s permanent residency process, his wife and children were able to relocate to Canada, where they now enjoy access to quality education and healthcare. That is what we mean when we say we help clients secure their legacy.”

Ambassador Okeke also discussed the growing aspirations of Africa’s high-net-worth individuals who seek financial stability and global access. “Our clients want to be global — to access healthcare, education, and investment opportunities across borders. At Optiva, we help them not just acquire second passports, but create sustainable wealth structures that endure across generations,” she explained.

She reiterated that Optiva Capital Partners operates as a full-service wealth advisory firm, integrating investment immigration, insurance, and wealth management solutions. “Our mission is to protect, grow, and optimise our clients’ wealth. No two families are alike, and our strategies reflect their unique realities,” she said.

Looking ahead, Ambassador Okeke outlined Optiva’s ambition to strengthen its position as Africa’s one-stop global advisory firm. “We’ve evolved from a global access company into a holistic wealth advisory institution, helping our clients grow through real estate, investment diversification, and global partnerships,” she noted.

Mr. Nechi reaffirmed the board’s confidence in Ambassador Okeke’s leadership, describing her as a pillar in Optiva’s continued evolution. “Her 12-year journey reflects the spirit of Optiva — vision, resilience, and impact. We are proud of her achievements and look forward to many more years of shared growth,” he said.
