The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki are among dignitaries expected to grace the 30th memorial lecture of Chief Joseph.E. Imoukhuede in Benin City.

Renowned expert in public policies and reforms, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, is scheduled to deliver the lecture titled The Quintessential Administrator: Revisiting our history of selfless public services on 25th April.

Imoukhede was the first secretary to the Government and Head of the Civil Service of the defunct Midwest region.

He was a pioneer administrator in the setting up of the Civil Service Structure for the Mid-Western Region at its creation in 1963. Born on April 25, 1921, the administrator hailed from Sabongida Ora in Owan West Local Govt Area. He died on April 27 1989.
