Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, has affirmed that current strategic measures being taken by the present administration would vitiate against the pangs of projected economic recession in the country.

For effect, Tinubu said the focus at this period should not be on inflation, but rather on initiatives that could create jobs and enhance the quality of living for the people.

He spoke just as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the administration, stressing that although these were trying times, God would surely bring the country to the Promise Land.

Tinubu, in a Democracy Day message yesterday, explained that the current economic diversification drive of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration presents a potent pedestal for the revival of the nation’s economy on a sustainable basis, stressing that the strategy would be more recession- resistant because “the economy will rest on multiple revenue sources instead of a single source that is dependent on foreign consumer preferences over which we have little control”.

He stressed the need for Nigeria to sustain its democracy through sustained efforts at good governance, devoid of ills and impunity of the past.

According to Osinbajo, the nation would fulfil its promise of being a land flowing with milk and honey for all her people.

Speaking at a service to mark the first anniversary of the Buhari administration in Abuja, the Vice President noted God has been faithful to the nation, stressing that many countries may not have stood the several pressures and challenges that had continued to “confront us as a people.”

He observed that the glory of a restored Nigeria is in “our acts of sacrifices and prayers”, adding that the “Lord who has brought us this far, will never take us back.”

Refuse to politically restructure Nigeria and expose it to the danger of total collapse. This same Tinubu once canvassed for the imperatives of restructuring Nigeria but in spite of more visible signs of danger ahead, he lies that we are on the right pedestrian. A government that sings of fighting insecurity made no reference in a national presidential broadcast to the killings of Nigerian rural dwellers for animals to feed, rapping and kidnapping in these communities without arrests yet these devils still preach all is well. These are the days demons in the corridors of power.

They should be shown this article; “No confab report, no Nigeria, Falae insists By Oluwaseun Akingboye – 30 May 2016 to read it carefully and to read my comment also please! The problem Buhari has presently is derived from the poor management of the last elections by Prof. A. Jega – if he had allowed that principle of ‘bye-elections’ before the main in 2015 as was done in the United Kingdom with their own defectors, PMB will be working with politicians of like minds!

YOUR BIG PROBLEM NOW IS THAT ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU AND HIS GROUP IN THEIR SO-CALLED CANNY (characteristic) YORUBA DEPLOMACY have gone to give President Obama the wrong stories or impressions about what is happening in Nigeria so that they can (APC) win the 2015 elections! But God before us, there is nothing beyond His scope to settle if approached!
To say that there is nothing about citing legal reasons or critical about the issues in this matter take a close look at the presenters of this report what massage they are presenting to Nigerians – i.e. the Muslims have deliberated and decided on what to do – it may count as another part of the missed opportunities for Nigeria! All the effusions and the rhetoric only to end up showing the timid disposition for the serious matter about Nigeria! It follows that the figures and even names may not all be correct – it must have been doctored or bamboozled as usually the case for Nigeria! You can read the message clearly and they are not touching on the Confab recommendations whatever we think or hope for and the preamble to the 1979 Constitution prepared by the Military says ‘we’ when, in fact, it is they – the Military that prepared it with loads of shortcomings and then foisted it on the people against what America did in their own Philadelphia agreement! in 1787! All efforts and attempts to make the Book adoptable or acceptable to meet/ serve the political and therefore economic problems in Nigeria meet with such resistance from the group from the North signifying that they are not only deliberate but determined in their ideas about the country – Nigeria! We know reasons for the successes recorded in the North-East regarding the insurgency attacks and the causes of the crisis in the first place – after all CEOs have security votes to keep check on such activities in their States of jurisdiction!!

Kingsley Ayo (K)Peleoo Kingsley, I am not taking sides in this matter because it concerns the whole nation; what I do is state the facts as I know it being familiar with what Nigeria has gone through to date! You’ll discover that the renege will reverberate across the land without the anticipated savoury effect also in Europe and could open up a serious page for Nigerian in their quest for calm and or decorum – I always said to the willing, if you want to be reckoned as a good politician, that it is more honourable to see that public matters are conducted publicly! Problem is that majority of you in Nigeria do not see beyond your noses – i. e. think rationally! I don’t want to predict anything because I am not a pundit you know clearly that there is nothing hidden in Nigeria about you politicians all will be revealed sooner or later therefore the plan/plot will remain transitory!
