Osun election: Accord Party candidate Ogunbiyi beats Oyetola, Adeleke in polling unit
The candidate of the Accord Party in the Osun State governorship election Akin Ogunbiyi won his polling unit on Saturday.
Ogunbiyi defeated incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ademola Adeleke in Unit 003, Ward 005, Methodist Primary school, Ile-ogbo, in Ayedire local government.
Ogunbiyi polled 125 votes to beat Oyetola and Adeleke who polled 89 and 63 votes respectively.

Meanwhile, Oyetola and Adeleke won their individual polling units in the governorship election.
Adeleke defeated Oyetola to win polling unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde in Ede North LGA, where was registered as a voter.

The PDP candidate polled 218 votes while Oyetola polled only 23 votes.
Also, incumbent governor Oyetola has won his polling unit in the ongoing governorship poll.

The polling unit has 1457 registered voters.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate polled 545 votes from his polling unit situated at ward 1, LA school, Popo, Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government Area.
His closest rival, Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had 69 votes.
There were eight invalid votes recorded.
