Founder and Presiding President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, and President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Wale Oke, are among top religious leaders expected to grace the Church of God Mission International (CGMI) Mega Convention 2025, tagged “CGMI MegaCon 2025,” scheduled to hold in Benin City, Edo State.
At a press briefing in Benin City, chairperson of the CGMI Mega Convention Planning Committee, Rev. (Mrs) Maureen Okoro-Sokoh, announced that the event, themed “Focus on Christ for His Immeasurable and Infinite Love,” will run from August 4th to 10th, 2025, and promises a powerful and transformative spiritual experience.
She stated that the biennial convention will feature a rich lineup of anointed gospel ministers, including Rev. Julian Kyula, a renowned international speaker and pastor, alongside several other seasoned ministers who will min
ister throughout the seven-day event.
“In addition to the word-based sessions, the convention will include dynamic worship ministrations by an array of spirit-filled gospel music ministers,” Okoro-Sokoh noted, emphasising that CGMI MegaCon serves as the flagship global gathering of the church.
She highlighted that the event would draw thousands of worshippers, church leaders, and spiritual seekers from Nigeria and abroad, offering a unique mix of spiritual empowerment, leadership training, youth engagement, and community building.
Also speaking at the briefing, director of administration of CGMI, Rev. Tari Hudson Ekiyor, disclosed that over 40,000 delegates are expected to attend this year’s convention.
He expressed optimism that the 2025 edition will herald a season of spiritual revival, healing, and prosperity, not just for Edo State, but for Nigeria as a whole.
“We believe that MegaCon 2025 will be a divine encounter that will bring healing to the land and inspire renewed hope for our nation,” Ekiyor added.
