Former National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC), Dr. Musa Babayo, has declared for Bauchi State governorship race on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Babayo, flanked by his supporters, made his intention known, yesterday, at the ‘Next Level’ office of the party.

He told Bauchi APC Chairman, Babayo Misau that he was in the race to give back to the state what it had invested in him while growing up.

The aspirant, who was Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), said: “As a gubernatorial aspirant, I have every confidence in the leadership of the party in the state in whatever activity for the political benefit of its members and mankind.”

Responding, Misau assured aspirants that APC in Bauchi would exhibit justice, fairness and equity to all members, irrespective geographical background.

He solicited cooperation and understanding of party members, especially aspirants to various elective positions, urging aspirants to bear in mind that only one person can ascend to each position.
