President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar were among the high-profile guests at the wedding ceremony of Fauziyya Danjuma Goje, daughter of Senator Danjuma Goje, and Aliyu Ahmed Abubakar on Friday in Abuja.

The event, held at the National Mosque immediately after the Juma’at prayer, attracted dignitaries from across the political spectrum, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.

Also present were prominent political figures such as former All Progressives Congres (APC) national chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya, and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

Governors from various states attended the ceremony, including Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Dikko Radda (Katsina), Uba Sani (Kaduna), and former state governors Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Nasiru El-Rufai (Kaduna), and Ali Modu Sheriff (Borno).

Senior presidential aides, such as Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, also graced the occasion.

The wedding served as a rare platform for leaders across party lines to interact, including Tinubu and Atiku, whose presence drew significant attention.

Senator Goje, a former governor of Gombe State and a founding member of the APC, has been serving in the Senate since 2011. The senator was seen in high spirits as he shared moments with the president and other dignitaries.
