Police arrest robbers, kidnappers in Kaduna

The Nigeria police have arrested three members of an armed robbery and kidnap gang, including a female, Aisha Bature, 23, who is a wife to the leader of group.
Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, in a statement said that members of the gang have been on the wanted list for some time now. He sated that in the course of investigation, the suspects admitted to some kidnappings and robberies on Zaria- Kaduna express way.
According to Jimoh, some weapons including a fully loaded AK 47 rifle, a locally made pistol, 30 rounds of live ammunition, Samsung S6 phone belonging to their last victim as well as some charms were revered from them in a toilet in Aisha’s house. The suspects, he said, have confessed to the roles they played in the crimes traced to them.
“Others members of the gang arrested in Zaria, Kaduna state, are Nuhu Fulani, 32 and Yahaya Muhammed, 26. The Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Inspector General of Police arrested them. They have also been identified by some of their victims,” he said.
