As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Ashmed Specialist Hospital has commenced hepatitis and yellow fever screening and vaccination for over 1,000 officers of the Nigeria Police in Kaduna.
The hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Dr. Patrick Echobu said the screening and vaccination exercise for officers and their families are free.
Dr. Echobu said where the beneficiaries find it difficult to bring their families for the exercise, the hospital will take the free medical treatment to their doorsteps.
The CMD also tasked Kaduna residents on maintenance of good hygiene, following the scourge of Lassa Fever outbreak in the country
He stressed the need for functional Primary Health Care facilities in every part of the country to provide grassroots healthcare.
