In a related development, detectives attached to the Lagos State Police Command have arrested the leader of a kidnapping cartel whose gang has been terrorizing residents. The suspect, 42years old Peretu Governor, alias ‘Pastor’ is described as the most wanted kidnapper in Lagos State. He was allegedly arrested by policemen from the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) based on a tip-off. The suspect is also said to be involved in kidnapping, pipeline vandalism and armed robbery.
