President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met with the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, and the Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Clement Agba.

The meeting, which held at the State House, Abuja also had in attendance the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele as well as the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC), Mele Kyari.

Though, the agenda of the gathering was not disclosed at press time, it was, however, believed that it might not be unconnected with the fluctuating oil prices in the international market which dipped from $53 to $31 per barrel following the outbreak of the COVID-19, popularly known as Coronavirus.

Ahmed had after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) last week revealed that the scourge might affect the economy and force government to review the 2020 budget
