The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Lagos Province 26 Eternal Joy Zone has commissioned a borehole in its area for use by the community, as part of its Christian Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Lagos Province 26 Eternal Joy Zone has commissioned a borehole in its area for use by the community, as part of its Christian Social Responsibility (CSR).

At the official commissioning of the water project, the Pastor in Charge of Lagos Province 26, Pastor Johnson Ashaolu, lauded the project, while describing water as a life sustainer, which mankind cannot do without or life will be snuffed out of him.

“This day, we are giving back to the community. The church is not all about spirituality, the blessing that God gave to us, we should be able to give back to the community.

“Water is static because of the life containing power of water. We will do more because we know that God will empower. We are just starting today; very soon we will do greater things by God’s grace,” he said.

Speaking on the project, the Assistant Pastor in Charge of Lagos Province 26 (CRS), Pastor Babatunde Akinyeye, said the borehole project was the fifth commissioned in the province through God’s grace.

“There may not be so much noise about this, but God is answering our prayers. And I know that before this time next year, not only will it double, but we will triple by God’s grace,” he said.

The Pastor in Charge of the Eternal Zone, Pastor Adedamola Okunade, used the opportunity to thank the pastors, ministers, workers and congregation members who supported the project to become a reality for use by the community as part of the church’s contribution in its CSR.
