Relative calm in Abuja

There was relative calm in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Markets were still shut, as just a few vehicles were on the road.

The ever-busy and popular Wuse and Garki Area One markets were empty, as most of the shops remained locked, while taxi drivers scampered for the few available passengers

Security operatives manned roads leading to the presidential election collation centre.
