Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Tanko Muhammad, has charged judges and lawyers to rid the judiciary of bad eggs.

He stressed that jurists and practitioners could not lead with granting of reckless ex-parte orders and filing of frivolous suits and forum shopping.

The CJN made the appeal yesterday while inaugurating Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf as substantive Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT

“An occasion like this may be auspicious for self-assessment. It is by co-incidence that this event comes at a time the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is holding its 61st Annual General Conference, tagged, Taking The Lead,” he noted.
