Sanitation exercise holds in Ekiti today


The monthly environmental sanitation exercise today in Ekiti State between 7am and 10am.

A statement by the state Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources said there would be no restriction of movement during the exercise to allow candidates sitting for the National Common Entrance Examination into the federal unity schools to move freely to their various centres in the state.

The statement added that the regular sanitation exercise in market places and all ministries, departments and agencies was held yesterday and urged the public to clear drainages in front of their individual places of residence and shops.

It further appealled to the people dump their refuse into Dino Bins in their areas appropriately and all top government functionaries, as well as local government environmental health officers to monitor the exercise and ensure that people come out to clean their surroundings.
