Sanwo-Olu congratulates Marwa at 71
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, yesterday, congratulated the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), on his 71st birthday.
The governor’s wishes were contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile.
Sanwo-Olu noted that Marwa contributed his quota to the growth and development of Lagos State.
The governor, while extolling Marwa’s virtues, described him, who is one of his predecessors, as “an epitome of dedication, selflessness and discipline in public service.”
He also hailed the former Lagos State Military Administrator’s efforts in tackling transportation challenges amid the ever-increasing population of the state during his regime.
The statement reads in part: “Governor Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of his family, the government and the people of Lagos State, wishes the former military administrator of Lagos State, Brig.- Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd.) a happy birthday, long life and sound health for him to contribute more towards nation building.”
