Sapphire Scents, a leading perfume brand in Nigeria, on Sunday marked its 10-year anniversary amid pomp and pageantry in Abuja.
The event was an opportunity to reflect on the 10-year journey of the brand, defined by exceptional service delivery, provision of solutions that empower, and creation of value for money.
Addressing the gathering, which had high-profile guests, the Founder/Creative Director of Sapphire Scents, Mr. Adewale Aladejana, better known as Wale Jana, underscored the company’s enduring commitment to meeting customer satisfaction.
“Sapphire Scents started in 2015 with a passion to provide affordable luxury perfumes to Africans all over the world by creating scents with ingredients indigenous to Africa and by blending these ingredients with French and oriental oils to create the excellent African experience in perfumery, as none can exist without the other.”
He, however, lamented the lack of an enabling business environment and economic realities, which he says “has been a great challenge.”
“We face a lot of challenges. Creating and maintaining business is not an easy task in Nigeria. The economic realities are a big problem for us. The high dollar rate, inability to obtain loans with low interest rates, and much more are some of the bottlenecks we have dealt with. As an entity, we are doing our best to continue to provide our clients with the most amazing fragrance that will stand the test of time.”
A client at the event, Oladele Remu, commended the company and praised the visionary leadership and creativity of the founder and creative director, Mr. Olawale.
“Ten years have passed in the blink of an eye, and we couldn’t be prouder of your achievements. Your contributions, leadership, and dedication have helped shape Sapphire Scents into what it is today.
“We have no doubt that Sapphire Scents will, in no distant time, take over the world and put Nigeria on the map of history. We are looking forward to another decade of excellence, creativity, and everlasting legacies in fragrance.”
Some of the best brands of Sapphire collections were on display. They include Jagaban, Siren, and more.
Guests were treated to entertainment, refreshments, and interesting features.
