Security guard found dead in Ondo
A Security guard attached to a multi-national electronic company in Ondo State was yesterday found dead at the entrance of the office in Akure.
The middle-aged man identified as Taiwo, The Guardian learnt, did not have any form injuries on his body. Some people said he might have died due to cardiac arrest.
The police personnel attached to the A Division in Akure condoned the scene and took the body to the morgue.
An employee of the organization, who pleaded anonymity, said the late security guard was active in the office and showed no sign of any illness before the close of work on Tuesday.
“He was our security man. We were together yesterday before we departed for our different homes after work. He was lively and showed no sign of sickness,” he said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Femi Joseph, said the command had begun investigation to unravel the cause of the death.
