Senator Natasha celebrates the late Nuhu Yaqub’s legacy
Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Professor Nuhu Yaqub, describing him as a towering figure in Nigeria’s academic and administrative landscape, whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.
In a heartfelt tribute, which she personally signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday, the senator eulogised the late professor as a “beacon of excellence” whose unwavering dedication to education and national development left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s intellectual community.
Professor Yaqub, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, was praised for his intellectual brilliance, integrity, and commitment to knowledge. Senator Natasha highlighted his influence as a scholar and administrator, stressing that his work shaped countless lives and elevated the standards of education in the country.
